Please provide the dimensions below when ordering. These are very important to insure an accurate fit!

The Kennedy |
Dimension A:
The height of your mantle opening. This is NOT
the actual height of your fireplace opening. To get the correct
height measurement, you need to take the
distance from the hearth (the surface on which the mantel legs will rest) to
the top of your fireplace opening, plus any surrounding
materials above the opening that will provide
the proper clearance that will be consistent by your local codes (See
Code Disclaimer). Dimension B: The width of the opening, between the two legs of your mantle. This is NOT the actual width of your fireplace opening. To get the correct width measurement, you need to take the distance from the width of your fireplace opening plus any surrounding materials on the sides of the opening that will provide the proper clearance that will be consistent by your local codes (See Code Disclaimer). Some examples of the surrounding materials include ceramic tile, brick, marble. Important: Please consider and alert us of any obstructions (such as windows, receptacles, or light switches) that may interfere with overall length. Typical minimum clearance is 6" on each side and 12" on the top, but again check with your local building codes and the firebox manufacturer's specifications for the proper clearance. Feel free to contact us if you need any help with these dimensions.
